Teen Volunteer Houston is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization designed to help students assist charitable organizations in the Houston area. Our goals are for students to find and sign up for meaningful volunteer opportunities and to help nonprofit organizations find volunteers that are interested in their programs.

ABOUT SOPHIA FRANKEL – CEO
Hi! I am Sophia Frankel, and I am currently the CEO of the nonprofit Teen Volunteer Houston. As a high school freshman at Emery Weiner School, I realized that life has changed since COVID-19 and people throughout the community have greater needs than ever. I wanted to continue to help Houston students have the opportunity to find community service events that fill their interests, so I am updating the website for the complex and challenging times.
ABOUT MEGAN FRANKEL – THE FOUNDER
Hi! I am Megan Frankel, and I started the nonprofit Teen Volunteer Houston. As a high school junior at The Kinkaid School, I realized that it was hard to find the perfect volunteer activity that was interesting. I wanted to help Houston students have the opportunity to find community service events that fill their interests, so I made this website. I hope you will find it helpful, and I am happy for your suggestions on ways to improve the services that Teen Volunteer Houston provides!
