Project Description

Children’s Museum of Houston

VOLUNTEER AT A PLAYGROUND FOR YOUR MIND!

The Children’s Museum of Houston offers many community leadership opportunities for youth, adults and groups to help us fullfill our mission. Interact with visitors, assist staff in the action-packed exhibits or help our hard-working administrative staff during your volunteer experience.

DISCOVERY SQUAD PROGRAM

Ages 14-17

The Discovery Squad, the Children’s Museum of Houston’s youth leadership program, looks for talented, out-going, and committed young adults, ages 14-17, to volunteer throughout the Museum exhibits, providing crucial volunteer support to the Museum’s many activities and programs!

Throughout the school year, our young adults are able to volunteer on Thursday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays, as well as during schools holidays and breaks. We also offer summer volunteer opportunities from June through August, Monday through Sunday, including Thursday evenings, assisting with countless activities and interacting with thousands of visitors.
